Changelog:

  • Improved item drop system
  • “encounter-to-overworld” system reworked, now the enemies don’t simply disappear when you return to the overworld
  • Started working on water
  • Better cutscene (CG) system
  • Gallery (with some extra arts)
  • Changes to the save and load menu
  • Now, you can save inside safe rooms (like your home)
  • Clothes animation is now synchronized with the player
  • New mob spawn system with spawn conditions
  • Changes on the Inventory and Items systems
  • The escape skill is back, but with 100% success rate
  • Sky light now changes according to the hour
  • Added a test room to showcase features that are being worked on
  • Battle system changes
  • High grass (you can find hidden monsters inside it)
  • Changed the default text sound effect (in dialogs)(the new one isn’t too annoying)
  • Added emotes (I’ll use it on overworld-cutscenes and maybe NPCs will react to them) (You can’t use emotes yet…)
  • In battles with multiple enemies, attacks now aren’t super fast anymore

Known issues:

  • Going to lower places when being chased by mobs makes the game die
  • Enemies restore their status when you leave the encounter
  • Fast item transfer with a full inventory is very weird…

Forgot to mention in the previous update:

  • Clicking the hotbar changes the slot you are focused on
  • Simple Book system
